Brand Identity and Squarespace Website Design for Lindsay’s Ayurveda Practice
The Background
I had the pleasure of designing a brand identity and Squarespace website for Lindsay, an Ayurvedic practitioner based in the Netherlands 🌿 She offers consultations and hands-on therapies, and she also hosts different events such as seasonal cleanses and workshops. Keep reading to see how we brought this project to life. ✨
The Vibe
Lindsay’s practice is all about rooted wisdom, healing, and balance so we wanted the design to feel just as grounded and intentional. To bring that mood we went for:
earthy colors
organic lines
soft shapes
natural textures
and, as Lindsay puts it, a quietly powerful vibe ✨
The Passiflora Logo
For the logo design we didn’t go with just any flower. It’s a passiflora (aka passionflower). Turns out, it’s pretty special in Ayurveda, known for its super calming vibes. 💙 I created the icon in an organic style with intentionally not perfect shape to mirror the authentic, natural side of the brand.
The Color Palette
For the color palette we picked some earthy tones - soft brown, deep green, warm grey, jet black and white.
The Typography
We picked a font combination that looks professional but also friendly and approachable. And, of course, it had to be easy to read which is crucial for the website design.
The Icons
We also introduced a few hand drawn icons in organic style to add some depth to the branding.
